By what date must the salary be paid?+
Under the Labour Relations Act, salary must be paid no later than the 15th of the month for the previous month, unless a collective agreement specifies otherwise.
Does every employee have to receive a pay slip?+
Yes. The employer is obliged to provide a pay slip to each employee, clearly showing the gross salary, contributions, tax and net amount.
How much are the contributions in North Macedonia?+
Total contributions amount to 28% of gross salary: pension 18.80% + health 7.50% + unemployment 1.20% + workplace injury/occupational disease 0.50%. Personal income tax is 10% on taxable income (after deducting the personal allowance of 10,932 MKD).
Do you also calculate freelance and contract payments?+
Yes. In addition to regular salaries, we also process calculations for service contracts, author agreements and other types of remuneration, in compliance with legal obligations.
What if there is sick leave during the month?+
Sick leave affects the salary calculation. Depending on the duration and grounds, part of the compensation is borne by the employer and part may be covered by the Health Insurance Fund. We handle all cases.

Can a salary be calculated for a director without regular employment?+
